Fees for Waverley Nursery

Waverley Nursery operates an all inclusive package; this includes morning and afternoon snacks, a hot freshly prepared meal and pudding at lunchtime, formula milk, cows' milk, nappies, wipes and cream. For more exact information for your child's year group, please click on the relevant Fees and Information sheet below.

Nursery 1 and Unfunded Children

This information is for unfunded children from Nursery 1 onwards. From September 2024, parents may also be eligible for 15 hours free funding per week due to the introduction of the Early Years Funding being rolled out by the Government for children aged 9 months +.  The fees below are therefore minus any funding that may be awarded to parents.

Nursery 3 / Foundation Stage 1 and Funded Children (ie. for Early Years Funded Children)

As Waverley Nursery offers a wide variety of care options, including 51 weeks and Term-Time only contracts, a selection of session drop-off and pick-up times which can be different for each day a child attends Nursery, and Government Funding, which will vary according to each individual family's circumstances, please contact us to find out more about fees via admissions@waverleyschool.co.uk.

Waverley Nursery accepts 15 hours and 30 hours of Government Funded Hours. Please note that 30 hours funding is not available for children attending term-time only.

For further information about Government Funding, Tax Free Childcare and Childcare Vouchers, please read our 'Funding Explained' guide here

Ad Hoc Session Fees

We offer ad hoc sessions for our parents requiring additional care on an ad hoc basis. These are subject to availability. Please contact Mrs Helen Jenkins, our Head of Admissions via admissions@waverleyschool.co.uk, should you wish to book ad hoc sessions. If you wish to cancel an ad hoc session that you have already booked, please note that we require 5 working days notice otherwise the ad hoc session fee will be due in lieu of notice.

Notice Period at Waverley Nursery

Our notice period is two full calendar months. This means that if you give notice mid September, then the two full calendar months are considered as October and November. Parents would therefore be liable for fees until end of November.

Swapping Days / Ad Hoc Sessions

We are regrettably unable to swap days if care is needed for a one-off occasion on a different day to your child's normal attendance day. This is because we need to ensure correct staff ratios. Parents are able to book ad hoc days depending on availability.

Holidays and Extended Absence

Fees are still due if a child is ill, goes on holiday or is away for a period of extended leave in order to guarantee the child's place when they return. If fees are not paid while away, it is regarded that a child has left the Nursery and Waverley reserves the right to offer the place to another family.

Not only do you take such amazing care of my son, the attitude of your team and constant detailed reviews and updates we get through Tapestry is just superb. (Mrs E)
